Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami handed over appointment letters to 272 candidates in a program organized by the Technical Education Department. The job fair was organized by the Department of Technical Education for the students of Polytechnic in May 2023. Bold H3 Subheading: Increase in Courses and Infrastructure in Polytechnics
An amount of Rs 300 crore was given in one year for better infrastructure facilities in polytechnics in the state. After meeting with the industries, courses have been increased in the state on the basis of demand of the industries. On behalf of Technical Education Minister Subodh Uniyal, it has been said that 60 percent youths are being selected through employment fairs. About 100 percent students are also being selected from some polytechnics.
Bold H3 Subheading: Employment Fair Organized for Garhwal and Kumaon Region
Students studying in many polytechnic institutions of Kumaon region got employment in the employment fair organized at Government Polytechnic Kashipur in April 2023. Similarly, on May 8, 2023, about 608 youths got employment in the employment fair organized for the Garhwal region.
The Technical Education Department has successfully provided employment opportunities to the youths of Uttarakhand, and it is expected that this trend will continue.
