UP Government Approves New Transfer Policy 2023-24
The Uttar Pradesh cabinet has approved the Transfer Policy 2023-24, which will transfer officers of Group A and Group B who have completed 3 years in the district and 7 years in the circle. The transfer process will be completed by June 30th. According to the policy, transfers of Group A and Group B personnel will be done only with the approval of the CM through the departmental minister. The government order issued on 13/05/2022 will be strictly followed for change of table or area of Group C personnel.

The transfer policy states that Group A and B transfers will be done to the maximum extent of 20 percent of the cadre-wise working personnel and maximum of 10 percent of the Group C and D personnel. Category vice of Group C and D can be done only with the approval of the departmental minister to the extent of more than 10 percent and maximum of 20 percent. The employees who have been working for the longest time will be transferred on priority. Arrangements have been made to transfer Group B and C personnel on the basis of merit-based online transfer system as far as possible.
In addition, the government has made arrangements to take the option of posting parents of retarded children and disabled children who are completely affected by walking. They will be posted where they can get proper care, and there should be proper arrangements for their care. The government has also arranged to saturate 100 development blocks of 34 districts of Siddharthnagar, Bahraich, Chandauli, Fatehpur, Chitrakoot, Balrampur, Shrawasti and Sonbhadra, aspirational districts declared by the Government of India, and saturation by posting in all districts of Bundelkhand.
