Greater Noida . In the case of murder of two real brothers in Noida’s Baraula village, the District Court has sentenced the entire family to life imprisonment. These include the head of the household, his wife, and both the sons. The court verdict came after almost six years in the double murder case.

Additional Sessions Judge Fast Track Court I Ranvijay Pratap Singh heard this double murder case. A fine of twenty thousand rupees each has also been imposed on the accused. ADGC (Crime) Nitin Tyagi said that on October 9, 2017, real brothers Umesh and Yogesh were stabbed to death in Baraula village of Sector-49 Kotwali area of Noida. Both the brothers were found lying in a bloody condition in the drain at night. Doctors had declared them dead in the hospital.

The uncle of the deceased, Ramesh Kumar Sharma, had filed a case against the accused Omveer, his wife Pushpa, and both sons Gulshan and Jitendra. During the hearing, the court convicted Omveer, Pushpa, and their sons Gulshan and Jitendra and sentenced them to life imprisonment.

Father and both sons are in jail

The father and his two sons, who carried out the double murder, have been in jail since the incident. The woman had been granted bail, but the court did not grant bail to the three accused. Omveer and Pushpa Devi, along with their sons Gulshan and Jitendra, had executed the incident. The deceased, 20-year-old Yogesh and 21-year-old Umesh, were studying in class X and XI, respectively.

Women crying in court

After the court’s decision, there was chaos in the families of the culprits. Women started crying in the court premises. Both the sons were not granted bail for the last six years. Now, after life imprisonment, the daughters-in-law of both the sons were crying and in bad condition.

The crime was carried out despite the agreement

Advocate Nitin Tyagi revealed that about two months before the murder, Gulshan and Jitendra had a dispute while playing cricket with Umesh and Yogesh. After this, the people of the society sat together and reached an agreement, but both of them continued to have a rivalry with Yogesh and Umesh. Subsequently, a conspiracy was hatched, and a double murder was carried out in Baraula village.
