Jailed Swindler Accuses Kejriwal and Jain of Violating Norms for Medical Contracts
Jailed swindler Sukesh Chandrasekhar has written a fresh letter to Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor, accusing Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former Health Minister Satyendar Jain of violating norms for awarding medical contracts to a private firm, Metropolis Laboratory and Pathology Centres. Chandrasekhar alleges that the Aam Aadmi Party received Rs 13 crore from the private company for the Goa elections.
Allegations of Contract Violations
In his letter, Sukesh Chandrasekhar claims that the Kejriwal government awarded multiple medical contracts to Metropolis Laboratory and Pathology Centres. These contracts were mainly for processing blood and biosamples from various hospitals under the Delhi government, including those of the inmates in Delhi Jail. Chandrasekhar alleges that the payments made during the Goa election were collected in three installments from the office of Metropolis Labs in Mumbai, as per the instructions of Satyendar Jain, and that Arvind Kejriwal personally thanked him for the contributions.
Call for Investigation
Chandrasekhar urges the Lieutenant Governor to conduct a serious and detailed investigation into the matter, as he believes that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Satyendar Jain are closely involved. He claims to possess evidence of the transactions that reveal the entire scam. Chandrasekhar also alleges that many contracts were awarded to Metropolis Labs due to their proximity to Kejriwal and Jain.
Details of the Transaction
According to the letter, Chandrasekhar’s staff collected a total of 13 crores in two installments from the Metropolis office in Mumbai. Out of this amount, 5 crores were sent to Jain’s cousin, Dr. Himesh, who resides in Indranagar, Bengaluru. The remaining 8 crores were sent to Goa and collected by unknown individuals, as instructed by Jain. Chandrasekhar claims that Kejriwal personally called and thanked him on a Facetime call after the delivery of the funds.
Request for ED and CBI Involvement
Chandrasekhar appeals to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to look into the matter and investigate the funds received and collected from Metropolis Labs. He expresses his willingness to provide Facetime and WhatsApp chats as evidence of the 13 crore transaction.
