New Helicopter Quota for Senior Citizens and Disabled Pilgrims
In Jammu and Kashmir, the Shrimata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has introduced a new helicopter quota specifically for senior citizens and disabled individuals. This announcement was made by the Chief Executive Officer of the Board, Anshul Garg, who highlighted several initiatives aimed at enhancing the services for pilgrims while prioritizing their welfare.
Starting from February 1, 2025, the online helicopter quota will be available on the official website of the Shrimata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. This step is part of the Board’s ongoing efforts to improve the pilgrimage experience for all visitors.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who also serves as the Chairman of the Shrimata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, emphasized the commitment to continuously upgrade facilities and infrastructure for the benefit of pilgrims. Under his leadership, the Board has been dedicated to enhancing the overall experience for those visiting the shrine.
