Yamaha has announced the return of its Yamaha R3 twin-cylinder bike in India, while Aprilia is also testing a new twin-cylinder bike on Indian roads. Here are the three best two-cylinder engine motorcycles that will be available in India in the next year:

YAMAHA YZF R3

Yamaha is set to reintroduce the Yamaha R3 motorcycle in India. The 2023 model of the Yamaha R3 may come with LED indicators and traditional colors. It will be powered by a 321cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, generating 42bhp at 10,750rpm and 29.5Nm peak torque at 9,000rpm.

YAMAHA MT-03

In addition to the R3, Yamaha will also bring the MT-03 naked streetfighter to India. It is expected to be available as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), with the possibility of becoming a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit in the future. The MT-03 will also feature the 321cc parallel-twin engine found in the R3, producing 42bhp and 29.6Nm of torque. LED DRL and LED projector headlights may also be included.

APRILIA RS440

The Aprilia RS440 is currently undergoing trials. Spy photos reveal that the motorcycle will feature RS660 styling elements, including split LED headlights, grab rails, clip-on handlebars, a large windscreen, and a split seat. It is expected to be powered by a 440cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, generating around 48bhp and capable of reaching a maximum speed of 180 km/h. The RS440 may also come with a 6-speed gearbox, quickshifter, and sleeper clutch.
