Priya’s interest in sports increased during her studies in school. Then he participated in many competitions in his own district. In the year 2009-2010, Sonbhadra Athletics got the third position in the relay race. Got first position in 100 meters in 2009, first position in volleyball in 2012. State Volleyball participant from Uttar Pradesh in 2013. In the year 2013, she became the sports champion in the school. In 2016, she was awarded the Rani Lakshmibai Award for mountaineer from Uttar Pradesh.
