New Delhi: PM Modi to Inaugurate Yashobhoomi in Dwarka
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the world’s largest meeting, incentives, conference, and exhibition facility, ‘Yashobhoomi,’ in Dwarka on Sunday (September 17). Alongside, the metro station built in Dwarka Sector-25 will also be inaugurated, which will now be known as India International Convention and Expo Center (IICEC) or Yashobhoomi.
Yashobhoomi, with a total area of 8.9 lakh square meters, is larger than Pragati Maidan’s ‘Bharat Mandapam.’ The convention center covers over 73 thousand square meters and includes 15 convention rooms, a mini auditorium, a grand ballroom, and 13 meeting rooms. It can accommodate up to 11 thousand delegations. However, due to the inauguration by PM Modi on Sunday, some roads in Delhi will remain closed, causing traffic disruptions throughout the day from NH-48 to Nirmal Dham Nala (UER-II).
