Aravali Green Wall and Second Phase of Tree Plantation Launched
As part of the celebrations, the Prime Minister also participated in a tree plantation activity under the “A Tree in Mother’s Name” initiative. The program has now entered its second phase, focusing on mobilizing citizens across India to plant trees in memory or honor of their mothers. The campaign is integrated into the larger Aravali Green Wall Project, which aims to counter desertification, restore ecological balance, and promote urban biodiversity.
