Ghaziabad Trains to be Affected During G-20 Conference in Delhi

Due to the G-20 conference to be held in Delhi, the movement of trains will also be affected for three days. Many trains running from Ghaziabad will be canceled from September 8 to 10, while many will run on changed routes.


Railways has also canceled many EMU trains going to Delhi via Ghaziabad. Apart from this, the last station of many trains has been shifted to Sahibabad. Daily commuters traveling by EMU for three days will have to face trouble. Mathura-Ghaziabad EMU, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Ghaziabad Special, and Ghaziabad-Mathura EMU will run on a diverted route on 9th and 10th September. Furthermore, changes have been made in the last station of 36 trains going towards Delhi.

Strict Vigilance During the Conference

According to RPF in-charge Yashwanj Saluja, from September 7 to 11, all trains going towards Delhi will be investigated. Along with this, a continuous checking campaign will be conducted at the railway station. No passenger will be able to enter the station premises without passing through the scanner. Additional jawans have been appointed at the entry gate from both sides of the station.
