Chhattisgarh’s rail passengers have received fantastic news. The Vande Bharat Express will now run directly from Bilaspur to Delhi. This decision follows a meeting between MP Tokhan Sahu and the Railway Minister, resulting in the inclusion of this provision in Monday’s rail budget.
High-Speed and Comfortable Journey 🕒
Initially, the Vande Bharat Express will feature a seating arrangement, with plans to introduce a sleeper version later. This high-speed train will reduce the travel time from Bilaspur to Delhi to just 10 hours, compared to the current 18-20 hours. This new service will significantly benefit passengers by saving time and providing a more comfortable journey.
Reactions and Congratulations 🎉
On this occasion, Vilas Sutar, State Co-Office Secretary of BJP Kisan Morcha Chhattisgarh, congratulated Union State Minister Tokhan Sahu, PM Modi, and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. This new facility is seen as a significant achievement for Chhattisgarh.
