LG VK Saxena said that the day is not far when people living outside Delhi will come here to visit. After inaugurating the musical fountain in Bawana on Friday evening, he addressed the journalists.
He said that a year ago, a garbage dump used to be here in front of the Sarai Kale Khan bus stand, but now DDA has made such a beautiful picnic spot here that people can come here not only for morning and evening walks but also for picnics on weekends.
After witnessing the inauguration ceremony in Bawana on the banks of the Yamuna, LG also watched the musical fountain show and dedicated it to the public. This fountain has been installed on one of the three lakes made here. It is known that Bawana is a park built on the theme of bamboo on the banks of the Yamuna. Now laser and entertainment activities have also started here.
This show will be held six days a week
From 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, this musical fountain show will be held here six days a week. People can enjoy it from Tuesday to Sunday. Entry for children up to 10 years old is free here. A nominal fee has been kept for other people as well. LG said that the capital needs such entertainment and laser shows at many places.
Convention hall will be built here
LG said that such places on the banks of the Yamuna will connect people to the river. In the future, a convention hall, recreational center, cultural venue, and restaurants will be built here.
