Noida to Get New Flyover Near Chijarsi. Noida Authority Revives Flyover Project
In an effort to ease traffic congestion, the Noida Authority has reignited plans to construct a flyover on the Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad (FNG) route near Chijarsi. This project, which had previously been on hold, is now back on the agenda with a survey already completed and a Detailed Project Report (DPR) in the works.
Completed Road Work on FNG
Officials have reported that the road construction from Chijarsi to Bahlolpur, spanning approximately 8.945 kilometers, is already finished. This development is part of the broader FNG corridor, aimed at improving connectivity between these bustling regions.
Haryana’s Role in the FNG Project
While Noida is pushing forward with its segment of the FNG route, the Haryana government is yet to commence work on their section of the project. The expectation is that once the remaining work on the FNG begins, Haryana will follow suit and start their portion of the construction.
Current Traffic Situation at Chijarsi
At present, traffic jams are a common sight near Chijarsi, highlighting the urgent need for the proposed flyover. The new infrastructure is anticipated to significantly reduce congestion and improve traffic flow in the area.
