The Uttar Pradesh government has approved the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the new Aqua Line Corridor, which will connect Sector 142 to Botanical Garden. This 11.56 KM metro line will link Delhi Metro with the Aqua Line (Noida Metro), facilitating easier travel between Greater Noida and Delhi.

Accessibility: Foot-over bridges will be constructed on both sides of the metro stations to ensure passengers face no inconvenience while accessing the stations.

Project Timeline and Funding

Rapid Progress: Work on the 11.56 KM long corridor from Sector-142 to Botanical Garden is progressing swiftly. The Noida Authority is also funding the project, and the Yogi government has given its nod to expedite the construction process.

Final Stages of DPR: The DPR is in its final stages, with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) nearly completing it. Once approved in the authority’s meeting, construction will commence.
