Health Ministry’s Plans and Recommendations

According to official sources, Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda is expected to hold a crucial meeting with officials from the Ministry of Health, the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) soon. The meeting will focus on discussing the necessary measures and preparations to tackle monkeypox effectively.

Increased Vigilance and Guidelines

The Ministry of Health is also planning to issue new guidelines to increase vigilance at airports, seaports, and other points of entry into the country. These guidelines may include clear instructions on quarantine and treatment procedures to minimize the risk of the infection spreading.
