Maruti Suzuki has introduced a special edition of its Fronx crossover called the Fronx Velocity Edition. This new variant comes with minor cosmetic changes and additional features to add a touch of exclusivity for buyers.

The Fronx Velocity Edition is available across all variants, with prices starting at Rs 7.29 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition aims to provide an enhanced aesthetic appeal and more choices for consumers looking for a unique touch to their vehicles.

Cosmetic Enhancements

The Fronx Velocity Edition will be available exclusively through Maruti Suzuki’s Nexa chain of outlets. Even the base Sigma variant of this special edition gets a distinctive black and red garnish on the front bumper, grille, headlamps, and wheel arches.

As you move up the range, the Delta, Delta+, and Delta+ (O) variants receive additional styling elements such as a red side body and rear bumper trim, a rear spoiler extension, red ORVM covers, door visors, illuminated door sills, and red designer mats. These enhancements aim to give the vehicle a more sporty and dynamic look.

Interior Upgrades

On the inside, the Delta+ Turbo variant benefits from black seat covers and a carbon-finish interior styling kit, providing a more premium feel to the cabin. The higher-end Zeta and Alpha variants come equipped with Bordeaux-finish seat covers, adding a touch of luxury to the interior. These interior upgrades are designed to complement the exterior changes and offer a cohesive, upgraded experience for the occupants.

Engine Options

Initially launched in February with only the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, the Fronx Velocity Edition has recently expanded its powertrain options. It is now also available with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a CNG powertrain. This expansion in engine choices allows prospective buyers more flexibility and options based on their driving needs and preferences.
