If you’re dreaming of owning a house in Uttar Pradesh’s capital, Lucknow, there’s good news on the horizon. By this Diwali, your dream could come true! The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has prepared to launch 3,000 residential plots on Mohan Road. These plots will be developed in a style similar to Chandigarh, providing residents with top-notch facilities. Reports suggest that the most affordable plot could be available for around ₹25 lakhs. Over the past few days, 15 farmers have signed contracts, handing over their land to the LDA. In addition to the LDA, the Housing Development Council is also planning to launch plots, with 4,000 plots set to be offered in the Gosainganj area this year.
LDA’s Mohan Road Project Details
LDA has already acquired 785 acres of land in Pyarepur and Kaliyakheda villages under Kakori for the Mohan Road project. According to LDA officials, this project will be modeled after Chandigarh, offering well-planned infrastructure. Here’s how the land will be utilized:
- 111.12 acres for individual plots
- 159.52 acres for group housing
- 39.22 acres for commercial use
- 48.13 acres for community centers
- 183.24 acres for roads
- 9.28 acres for transit space
Additionally, 73.95 acres will be reserved for educational institutions, making this area an “Education City.” Furthermore, 159.85 acres will be developed as a green belt, contributing to the environment-friendly development of the project.
25% Payment Scheme for 4 BHK Flats
LDA is also offering a unique scheme where buyers can secure a 4 BHK flat by paying just 25% upfront. This initiative aims to make housing more accessible for buyers.
First Phase Investment
For the first phase of this development, LDA has issued a tender worth ₹225 crores. The work will soon begin, focusing on infrastructure such as roads, sewer systems, water supply, electrification, and drainage. Each sector will also have provisions for solid waste management, shopping centers, and spaces for vendors. Additionally:
- 42 acres will be reserved for a central park.
- A 45,000 square meter reservoir will be created.
- 2,485 plots of 450 square meters each will be developed.
This new residential project on Mohan Road is a significant step towards making modern housing accessible to the people of Lucknow, providing ample facilities and contributing to the city’s planned growth.
