DelhiDesk: The Delhi government, led by Arvind Kejriwal, has sent a proposal to the central government to replace Naresh Kumar with PK Gupta as chief secretary. Gupta is an IAS officer of the 1989 batch and currently serves as ACS (GAD). This move follows a previous proposal to remove Services Secretary Ashish More and replace him with AK Singh, which was sent to Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. The Delhi government cited the Supreme Court in both proposals, stating that the Lieutenant Governor is bound to follow the advice of the elected government.
