Kawasaki Motors has launched the updated versions of its two bikes in India, KX85 and KLX300R. These bikes are part of the 2024 lineup.
The KX85 is priced at Rs 4.20 lakh, while the KLX300R is priced at Rs 5.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
Both bikes are designed for motorsport enthusiasts, with the KX85 specifically targeting newcomers, children, and youth.
Kawasaki KX85 2024: Features and Specifications
- The KX85 features a plastic body, adjustable 36mm USD forks, and a fully adjustable KYB rear monoshock. It offers 275mm of suspension travel at both ends.
- The bike has 17-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels but does not come with lights such as headlights, blinkers, or tail lamps.
- It is built on a tubular frame and powered by an 84cc, single-cylinder, two-stroke engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
- The KX85 also includes the Ergo-Fit sizing system, allowing riders to customize the handlebar position.
Kawasaki KLX300R 2024: Features and Specifications
- The KLX300R is not a full-fledged dirtbike but resembles a trials bike. It shares similar plastic body parts with the KX85.
- It features 43mm USD forks, a monoshock at the rear, and offers 285mm of suspension travel at both ends. It has 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels.
- Powered by a 292cc, four-stroke liquid-cooled engine, the KLX300R generates 29bhp and 27Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox.
- Like the KX85, the KLX300R is equipped with the Ergo-Fit sizing system for a customizable riding experience.
