The 34-year-old Metropolitan Magistrate, currently posted in Tis Hazari Court and residing in the Government Colony in Model Town, reported that cars were being illegally parked on the road in Model Town Part II market. As a result, his son resorted to cycling on the footpath on September 29. However, a café had encroached upon the footpath, obstructing his son’s path. When the victim protested, the café owner and his father began hurling abuses. The victim further revealed that the café owner is the son of a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) from Delhi Police.

The next day, the victims returned to the area with their son. At that moment, the café owner and his associates attacked the car and assaulted both the father and son. The entire incident was captured on CCTV installed in the victim’s car.
