In a brazen daylight robbery, miscreants looted jewelry worth approximately Rs 35 lakh from a jewelry showroom in the Samaypur Badli area of Delhi. The incident occurred when three armed assailants riding bikes stopped in front of Shriram Jewelers, owned by Pramod Gupta, around 1.30 pm on Wednesday afternoon.

Wearing helmets and brandishing pistols, the miscreants threatened Gupta and his two employees, taking them hostage. Within a span of two minutes, they managed to bag all the jewelry before fleeing the scene. During their escape, they fired their weapons and headed towards Labor Chowk.

Upon receiving the news, the local police promptly arrived at the scene. The police have initiated an FIR and have intensified checks at the border. The Special Staff and Crime Team are currently scouring the CCTV camera footage from the vicinity to gather any leads. DCP Ravi Kumar Singh informed that a total of 480 grams of gold jewelry was looted in the incident.

The police are analyzing the CCTV footage capturing the escape of the miscreants. They are also conducting a thorough search of the area to gather any potential evidence. The entire vicinity has been cordoned off to ensure a comprehensive investigation.
