Honda to Launch Mid-Size SUV Elevate, Competing with Hyundai Creta and Maruti Vitara Brezza

Honda Cars India is all set to launch its new mid-size SUV called Elevate, which will directly compete with popular SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Vitara Brezza. The all-new Honda Elevate will debut on June 6, 2023. This will be the third model in Honda’s line-up after the City and Amaze sedans.

Exciting Features

The Elevate mid-size SUV is expected to have design elements similar to the HR-V and CR-V sold in foreign markets. It will be approximately 4.2-4.3 meters long and will come with Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), connected car functionality, a touchscreen infotainment system, an electric sunroof, 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, ambient lighting system, rear AC vent, cruise control, multiple airbags, and ABS with EBD.

Powertrain

The new mid-size SUV will share its powertrain with the City sedan. It may come with a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine (121 bhp) that can be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or CVT. Elevate may also have a 1.5-liter Atkinson cycle petrol-strong hybrid unit that includes two electric motors. It may be equipped with an E-CVT.

Launch and Price

The official launch of the Honda Elevate mid-size SUV will be on June 6, 2023, but it will be launched in the market later. The possibility of it being launched by August cannot be ruled out. The ex-showroom price of a mid-size SUV can be expected to be between INR 10 lakh and INR 18 lakh.
