Ghaziabad, a bustling city near the national capital, is now more accessible than ever. With the objective of providing affordable air services to smaller cities, flights from Bathinda to Ghaziabad have been initiated. A test flight from Ghaziabad to Bathinda took off on Tuesday, carrying airline staff, crew members, and other company associates.
Formal Inauguration of the Service: Starting Monday, the flight service will operate five days a week, offering passengers an economical air travel option. The flight will connect Bathinda to Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airbase.
Aircraft Details: DC Shaukat Ahmad Pare informed that preparations are complete. Initially, a 19-seater aircraft will be deployed. Depending on the response, there’s potential to introduce a 72-seater aircraft service in the future.
Test Flight Information: Officials from the airline company responsible for the operations revealed that test flights will continue until Friday.
Flight Timings: The aircraft will depart from Bathinda at 1:10 PM and, after its journey, will land in Bathinda at 12:30 PM.
Fare Details: An introductory fare of ₹999 has been set for the service.
Operating Company: Fly Big Company has been entrusted with the responsibility of operating the flights from Bathinda.
‘Fly Everyone’ Scheme: The selection of Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport is under the government’s ‘Fly Everyone’ scheme. The primary goal of this initiative is to enhance air connectivity to the smaller cities of the country.
