A massive fire broke out in a factory in Sahibabad industrial area of Ghaziabad district. 27 fire engines reached the spot to extinguish this fire. The fire could be controlled after 15 hours of hard work. During this time many firefighters got burnt. There has been no loss of life or property in the incident.
Fire Breaks Out in Sahibabad Industrial Area
According to the information, Sahibabad Fire Station received information about the incident at around 5 pm on Saturday evening. The caller reported a massive fire at SRC Impex, Site-4, near Pacific Mall. On reaching the spot, firefighters saw that the fire was fierce, its flames were spreading and there was a cloud of smoke. Additional assistance was immediately requested for the rescue operation. After this, a total of 27 fire tenders were sent to the spot from various fire stations.
Efforts to Control the Fire
Five fire engines were sent from Kotwali and the rest were called from Modinagar, Hapur, Meerut and Noida. The upper part of the factory where the fire broke out collapsed, making the work of firefighters difficult. The fire also engulfed two adjacent factories, SVL Centac and JPVDS. Due to basements in these factories, smoke spread, making rescue operations even more difficult.

Despite the intensity of the fire, there has been no loss of life or property in the incident. The firefighters worked tirelessly for 15 hours to bring the fire under control. However, many firefighters suffered burns during the operation.
