DelhiDesk A 22-year-old man has been arrested in Delhi for allegedly extorting over Rs 7 lakh from several people by threatening to post their private chat and videos on social media. The man was part of a sextortion racket that would engage victims on WhatsApp by playing obscene videos from a second phone, then take a screenshot of the call in which the victim could be seen watching the videos and later harass them with the same screengrab. The police have arrested 12 such cyber criminals this year as part of an ongoing drive against Mewat-based cybercrime.
