Delhi MCD’s 23 services can now be accessed from the comfort of home.

New Delhi: The Delhi Municipal Corporation is set to launch a new initiative that will allow citizens to access 23 services from the comfort of their homes. The services include obtaining a birth certificate, applying for a new health business license, and renewing an old one. The corporation administration is working diligently to make these services available online by the first week of October.

The corporation aims to provide these services to the public starting from October. To ensure efficient delivery, mobile assistants will be appointed in all 250 wards of the corporation. These assistants will be equipped with laptops, tablets, smartphones, and internet facilities to provide the services to citizens at their doorstep. Corporation Mayor Dr. Shaili Oberoi expressed her confidence that people will benefit from these 23 services without leaving their homes.

In addition, the corporation plans to launch a mobile app to further streamline the process. The senior officer of the corporation emphasized their commitment to providing seamless facilities to citizens and coordinating efforts across all departments.

Documents that can be obtained online

The online services will allow citizens to apply for a new factory license or renew an existing one. Other services include property tax return, new veterinary license, and renewal of old licenses. The corporation is currently developing a mobile app for easy access to these services.
