The Delhi and Haryana governments have introduced a new e-bus service connecting Delhi and Sonipat. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched this service from the Kashmiri Gate bus stand.

There are currently three e-buses operating on this route, running six trips each day. Passengers can travel the 50-kilometer distance for just Rs 67, making it both comfortable and affordable.

The e-buses will start from Kashmiri Gate and stop at various places like GTB Nagar, Azadpur Terminal, and Kundli Automall, ending at IMT in Sonipat. The buses run from Delhi to Sonipat in the morning at 4:45 am, 5:15 am, and 5:45 am, and in the evening at 4:45 pm, 5:15 pm, and 5:45 pm. From Sonipat to Delhi, the buses leave at 7:10 am, 7:25 am, 7:40 am in the morning, and at 7:30 pm, 8:00 pm, and 8:30 pm in the evening.

This new service will help daily commuters save time and reduce traffic on this busy route. It is also environmentally friendly as it helps decrease pollution levels.

In the future, the Delhi government plans to start similar bus services for other NCR cities like Gurgaon, Faridabad, and Noida, providing more options for inter-city travel at lower costs.
