He said that before the election, I had given this guarantee to everyone that I will regularize the employees, I am doing that today. CM said that I do what I say. Routine is a big task. Rest of the people will also be regularized. It may take some time but everyone will be regularized.
Delhi Aims to Become One of the Cleanest Cities in India
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Monday that now Delhi will soon be included in the cleanest cities of the country. CM Kejriwal said that the honest Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi will soon make the Municipal Corporation of Delhi financially self-sufficient and after that it will surpass Indore in terms of cleanliness. CM Kejriwal, who was present at Tyagraj Stadium, was talking to the cleaning staff. During this, the CM also handed over the certificate of making the jobs of about 370 sanitation workers permanent. Along with this, Kejriwal assured the other employees present there that soon their jobs would also be made permanent. Let us tell you that the election of Municipal Corporation of Delhi was held on 4 December. In this election, the Aam Aadmi Party won 134 out of 250 seats and with this the BJP’s 15-year rule in the MCD came to an end.
Kejriwal’s Guarantee to Make Temporary Employees Permanent
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that during the MCD elections in 2022, AAP had promised that all temporary employees would be made permanent. He said, ‘This is my guarantee and I will fulfill it. This is a one time job and it may take time but all will be made permanent. This program was organized by the MCD to thank the Chief Minister because for the last few months the employees are getting their salaries on time. Kejriwal said that he is happy that Group A, B, C and D category employees are getting salary on the first of the month. This last happened in the year 2010. Now after 13 years everyone is getting salary on time.
Delhi Aims to Become the Cleanest City
CM said that house tax collection has increased during the last few months. This has happened because Delhi now has an honest government. The CM said that now corruption has reduced because people are convinced that an honest government is present here, so people themselves are coming forward to pay taxes. They know that their money will be used at the right place. The CM told that when we started then the Delhi government was in loss. But now despite the water and electricity being free, the fund is in a surplus position. Soon the MCD will stand on its feet with the help of its own employees and officers. CM said that Indore is called the cleanest city but Delhi will become the cleanest city in a year or two.
MCD Employees’ Satisfaction and Mega Cleanliness Campaign
Kejriwal said that in previous governments, MCD employees did not get salary for two-three months. 70 per cent of the time of the employees was wasted in demonstrations. The employees of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi were upset. But now everyone is happy. The main job of MCD is to keep Delhi clean. CM said that MCD has started a mega campaign to clean Delhi and we will soon connect all the people with it. After this, Delhi will become the cleanest city after a few months.
