Exciting developments are happening in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region. The construction of an International Film City in Sector-21 is set to kick off within the next six months. This ambitious project marks a significant milestone for the Indian film industry.

Boney Kapoor and Bhutani Group Seal the Deal

On Thursday, renowned film producer and CEO of Bayview Projects, Boney Kapoor, along with Ashish Bhutani from Bhutani Group, signed the agreement documents with YEIDA. They have secured a sprawling 230-acre land for the project, aiming to revolutionize the film production landscape.

A Grand Vision for Film City

Boney Kapoor has announced that within 18 months, the film ‘No Entry Mein Entry’ will commence shooting in this state-of-the-art facility. Kapoor emphasized that this Film City will be unlike any other in the world. “Once artists shoot here, they won’t want to go anywhere else,” he said.

Multilingual and Multicultural Film Hub

The International Film City in Noida will cater to a variety of languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, and Bhojpuri, as well as international languages like Chinese and English. The facility promises world-class amenities, making it a one-stop destination for filmmakers.

First Phase to Cover 230 Acres

The Film City will be constructed in phases, with the first phase covering 230 acres and the second phase expanding to 670 acres. Kapoor stated that they have studied several film cities worldwide and plan to tour internationally with Ashish Bhutani to incorporate the best practices.

Iconic Sets and Locations

The Film City will feature replicas of iconic Indian religious sites such as Ayodhya’s Ram Temple and the Char Dham of Uttarakhand. Additionally, it will have prime sets replicating international locations like London, Canada, and Switzerland. This will enable simultaneous shooting for more than 30 films.

Commitment to Excellence

Ashish Bhutani, CEO of Bhutani Group, expressed their commitment to building a world-class Film City. The project will include cutting-edge technology, premier studios, and shopping centers, setting a new global standard.
