BJP MP Alleges ISKCON as the Biggest Fraudulent Organization

A BJP MP has made serious allegations against the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). The MP has described ISKCON as the ‘biggest fraudulent’ organization in the country. He alleged that ISKCON sells the cows of its cow sheds to butchers.

Bharatiya Janata Party MP and former Union Minister, Maneka Gandhi, who is also an animal rights activist, has accused ISKCON of fraudulent activities. Gandhi stated that ISKCON is currently the biggest fraud in India. She claimed that ISKCON establishes cow shelters and receives numerous benefits from the government to run them, including getting large plots of land. Gandhi recounted her visit to an ISKCON cow shed in Andhra Pradesh, where she found no dry cows and only dairy cows. She concluded that all the cows had been sold.

Maneka Gandhi wrote a letter to the Collector: Accused the corporation of giving the work of treatment of dogs to illegal NGO, said ★due to this, a large number of dogs are dying.

ISKCON Accused of Selling Cows to Butchers

Gandhi further accused ISKCON of selling all its cows to butchers, claiming that no one else does it as efficiently as they do. She criticized ISKCON for publicly chanting “Hare Ram Hare Krishna” while claiming that their lives depend on milk. The BJP leader alleged that ISKCON has sold more cattle to butchers than anyone else. She questioned the organization’s integrity and credibility.

ISKCON Denies Allegations

ISKCON has refuted the allegations made by Maneka Gandhi, calling them baseless and false. Yudhishthir Govind Das, the national spokesperson of ISKCON, stated that ISKCON has been at the forefront of protecting and caring for cows and bulls, not only in India but worldwide. He emphasized that their cows and bulls are served throughout their lives and are not sold to butchers, as alleged by Gandhi.
