Toll tax is going to increase at Delhi-Faridabad Badarpur toll plaza. According to media reports, toll tax will increase here from September 1. At the same time, new rates for cars, jeeps, light and heavy vehicles have also come to the fore.
What are the new rates of Toll Tax?
- Now instead of Rs 48 for cars, jeeps and vans, Rs 52 will have to be paid as toll.
- Light commercial vehicles will have to pay Rs 78 instead of Rs 72 and Rs 52 instead of Rs 48 for one way.
- Heavy vehicles will have to pay Rs 157 instead of Rs 143 for one way and Rs 105 instead of Rs 85 for one way.
Monthly pass rates also changed
Now the amount of monthly pass has also increased. For cars, jeeps, vans, instead of Rs 955, now Rs 1044 will have to be paid and on the other hand, instead of Rs 1432, commercial vehicles will have to pay Rs 1567 as toll. Along with this, heavy vehicles will have to pay Rs 3133 instead of Rs 2864. Now these new rates will be applicable from 1st September.
