The starting price for this electric scooter, equipped with a large 3.7 kWh battery pack, is Rs 1.38 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). This price point is appealing for those looking for a larger battery without opting for the higher-spec ‘Z’ trim features.
Battery and Range
The Rizta S is designed for customers who prefer a bigger battery, which offers a better range option at a more affordable price. The scooter’s 3.7 kWh battery is claimed to provide a driving range of up to 159 km on a single charge, with a top speed of 80 km/h.
Design and Features
While the Rizta S maintains the same look and design as the existing Rizta family, it includes practical features such as a 7-inch LCD display, auto hold, emergency stop signal, and turn-by-turn navigation to enhance the riding experience.
Additionally, it offers 34 liters of under-seat storage, which adds to its utility.
Warranty Options
The scooter falls under Ather’s ‘Eight70’ battery warranty program, providing an extended warranty of 8 years or 80,000 km (whichever comes first). However, customers must pay extra for this extended warranty, as it is not included as standard. That said, Ather Energy assures that the battery life of its scooters exceeds 8 years, offering long-term, worry-free driving.

The Rizta S is priced differently in various cities: Rs 137,047 in Delhi, Rs 137,258 in Mumbai, Rs 137,999 in Bengaluru, and Rs 139,312 in Chennai.
