Maruti Suzuki is set to release the new-generation Dzire in the latter half of 2024, closely following the debut of the all-new Swift next month. This launch is expected to redefine the compact sedan segment and strengthen the Dzire’s position as a market leader.

1. Exterior Features

The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire is poised to introduce a bold and aggressive front fascia, highlighted by a larger grille and sophisticated LED headlamp units designed to enhance visibility and provide a contemporary look.

The vehicle will feature an entirely new design of alloy wheels, along with distinctively styled front and rear bumpers, differing from those of the upcoming Swift. Rumors suggest that the new Dzire will also include connected LED taillights, aligning with current automotive trends.

2. Interior and Features

The refreshed interior of the 2024 Dzire aims to offer a more luxurious and comfortable cabin, emphasizing aesthetics and technological enhancements. The decor will include a new dual-tone color scheme of beige and black.

A standout feature is the new 9-inch floating touchscreen interface with wireless smartphone connectivity, a feature borrowed from the Baleno. Safety enhancements include ABS with EBD, ESP, traction control, up to six airbags, and a 360-degree camera system. Higher-end models may also offer a sunroof.

3. Powertrain Specifications

The forthcoming Swift and Dzire models will likely incorporate a mild-hybrid system within the petrol engine. This system is expected to provide a slight power boost to 90 PS at 6000 rpm and maintain a torque of 113 Nm at 4400 rpm.

These updates aim to improve the vehicle’s responsiveness and contribute to a smoother driving experience, ensuring the Dzire remains competitive in its class.

4. Launch Details and Pricing

The new Dzire is scheduled for release in the second half of the year. It will be priced between Rs. 7.00 lakh and Rs. 10.00 lakh (ex-showroom), reflecting a moderate increase due to the upgrades and new features, including options for both petrol and CNG variants.

5. Market Competition

The Dzire 2024 will contend with established competitors such as the Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor, and Honda Amaze. By merging cost-efficiency with modern features, Maruti Suzuki aims to sustain its attractiveness and market share in the competitive compact sedan segment.
