The Noida traffic system is about to get a major upgrade. A big project has started to improve the traffic flow in Noida and nearby areas, similar to the AIIMS flyover in Delhi. This new hi-tech traffic interchange will connect two important elevated roads, making travel much easier for everyone. 🛣️
Direct Route to Noida International Airport ✈️
Once completed, vehicles coming from Delhi and Haryana will have a direct route to the Noida International Airport, Agra, and Lucknow via the Yamuna Expressway. This will be possible thanks to the addition of two new elevated roads. The first road is the Chill Elevated Road, and the second will connect Sector-94 to the Yamuna Expressway. Construction of the Chill Elevated Road began last month and spans 5.9 km. It is being built at a cost of ₹892 crore and will serve about 10 lakh drivers every day. 🚗💨
Reducing Traffic Jams in Noida 🚧
This new construction aims to significantly reduce the traffic jams at the entrance of Noida. Additionally, to ease the traffic load on the Noida Expressway, an elevated road and an eight-lane ground expressway will be built from Sector-94 to the Yamuna Expressway. This will provide a direct link to the Noida International Airport.
A Modern Interchange for Better Connectivity 🔗
Both elevated roads will meet at a modern interchange near the Mahamaya flyover. An advisory company is being chosen to design this interchange. DGM Civil Vijay Rawal has stated that this project will offer a new traffic option, easing pressure on the expressway and making long-distance travel more convenient. 🚀
