Sinha will replace Anil Kumar Lahoti as the new Chairman and CEO (Railway Board) and will assume office today, September 1, 2023. She is also the first woman chairperson of the Railway Board. Vijayalakshmi Vishwanathan was the first woman member of the Railway Board.
