In a landmark move, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate 10 new Vande Bharat trains on 15th September from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. This will mark the first instance where 10 Vande Bharat trains will be launched simultaneously, boosting connectivity and transforming travel in various regions across India.

Special Focus on Southern India
In addition to these 10 new trains, South India has already seen the recent introduction of two new Vande Bharat trains:
- Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Nagercoil Vande Bharat
- Madurai – Bengaluru Cantt. Vande Bharat
Both trains are operational six days a week, except on Tuesdays, further strengthening travel options in the southern regions.
